If you are a business with an online profile, then you realize how important content management is. People love to read on the net, and by having a blog, you are giving them more reasons to stay on your website, which eventually can lead to conversions. However, this is blogging as part of a business that provides different products and services.
Technology, Entertainment and Design, better known as TED, is a nonprofit speaker series that began back in 1984 and is still going strong to this day. TED conferences are all about bringing a platform for the world leaders in technology, entertainment, and design, and presenting their case within 18 minutes or less. There are over 1,400 TED sessions available online if you ever want to feel inspired.
After watching The Wolf of Wall Street, which believe me is a great business movie, I decided to reflect on some of the great movies that were, in their essence, about business. I’ve picked three criterion for choosing a business movie:
- The theme – hate, love, balance of power, crime, and drama are some of the common genres in business movies
- The storyline – has to be centered around business
- The dialogues – there has to be one great quote on business that just makes the movie memorable
Pour a nice glass of thick scotch, lit up your cigar, and get ready to take some lifelong lessons from these five great movies!
